Product description
A174 also known as (3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane); it’s used in: 1. The mechanical strength of glass fiber reinforced composites can be improved by treating glass fiber yarn with a-174 silane coupling agent (including film-forming agent, lubricant and antistatic agent).
2. This product improves the dry and wet mechanical strength of polyester composites filled with silica, glass, silicate and metal oxide.
3. This product improves the wet electrical properties of many inorganic filler filled composites.
4. This product can be copolymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylate or methacrylate monomers to synthesize silylated polymer which can be crosslinked and cured at room temperature. These silylated polymers are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants. Provides excellent adhesion and durability.CAS is 2530-85-0; Package is 200kg/drum;
