It’s Solvay brand. The full name is N,N-Dimethylethanolamine. The applications are:1. polyurethane foam
In polyurethane foam, DMEA is an auxiliary catalyst, and also a reactive catalyst. It can be used in polyurethane soft foam and polyurethane rigid foam formulations.
2. Coatings, paints and inks
DMEA is mainly electrophoretic paint, including cathode and anode electrophoretic paint can be used.
3. Synthesis of water soluble coating resin
DMEA is very suitable for neutralizing free acidity in water-soluble coating resins.
4. Polyurethane coating
Tertiary amine catalyst is particularly effective in promoting the reaction of isocyanate with water; adding DMEA in the production of insulating foamed Pu gum can also effectively reduce the total cost; it is also commonly used in polyurethane elastomers.
5. Resin
